Cantronic OGI – Optical Gas Imaging & Detection

Cantronic presented its suite of gas detection sensors, designed for the oil and gas sector, environmental agencies, and industrial facilities. These tools help detect invisible gas leaks, improving safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.

DJI Enterprise

DJI revealed its most advanced enterprise offerings to date. Attendees saw live demonstrations of the DJI Matrice 400, Dock 3, and Matrice 4 Series, highlighting how these platforms are enabling longer flights, autonomous deployments, and seamless data capture for mission-critical operations.

Emesent – Autonomy in GPS-Denied Environments

Emesent’s Hovermap sensor suite showed its versatility in complex indoor and subterranean environments. The ability to fly autonomously in mines, tunnels, or collapsed buildings enables precise 3D mapping in areas where GNSS isn’t available.

AVSS Parachute Recovery Systems

AVSS (Aerial Vehicle Safety Solutions) designs industry-leading parachute recovery systems for commercial drones, enabling safer operations in populated or high-risk environments. Their ASTM F3322-compliant systems are fully autonomous and integrate seamlessly with enterprise drones from brands like DJI, ensuring drones can land safely in the event of an emergency.

Elistair – Tethered Drones for Persistent Surveillance

Elistair demonstrated their tethered drone solutions, which enable continuous power and secure data transmission for long-duration overwatch applications. Their use in public safety, crowd monitoring, and tactical operations stood out as a scalable solution for agencies requiring elevated situational awareness.

Transport Canada – BVLOS Regulatory Update

A key presentation from Transport Canada gave insight into the evolving regulatory framework for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations in Canada. Attendees gained valuable knowledge on upcoming rule changes, operational risk assessments, and what it takes to obtain approvals for expanded operations.

GreenValley International – Advanced LiDAR Mapping

GreenValley showcased their aerial and SLAM-based LiDAR systems, offering detailed 3D mapping capabilities even in GPS-challenged environments such as under dense forest canopies or in underground spaces. These systems are rapidly changing the way forestry and infrastructure inspections are conducted.
