DJI Matrice 300 RTK Charging Station Battery Error FIX

If you've updated your DJI Matrice 300 RTK recently with the Firmware that was released as of March 14, 2022. You may encounter the following issues with charging your BS60 batteries with the charging station:

  • The batteries LED indicators 12 & 34 will flash alternatively
  • The battery station status indicator will flash yellow
  • Your batteries will not charge in the battery station

Firmware causing battery issues:

  • Aircraft: v03.01.00.14
  • Battery station: v03.00.01.01
  • Battery: v01.02.05.40

To fix this issue, DJI has released a new firmware as of May 11, 2022. Ensure that you have updated the following Firmware:

  • Aircraft: v04.00.01.11
  • Battery station: v04.00.01.02
  • Battery: v01.02.05.43

How to update your M300 RTK firmware:

Updating the aircraft 

  1. Power on all devices (Aircraft & RC) and ensure everything is connected, including the wifi to your RC
  2. Go to the DJI Pilot app. A new firmware update prompt should appear on the home screen, and follow instructions on screen. 

Updating the battery station and battery

  1. Insert all the BS60 batteries into the charging slots that require updating
  2. Connect the battery station to the remote controller using the USB-C cable
  3. Turn on the remote controller and ensure there is a wifi connection
  4. Open the DJI Pilot App and go to the HMS page
  5. Tap the Firmware update page
  6. Tap the UPDATE all button
