Overview and Who It's For

The Level 1 Complex Flight Review + Prep Course is for candidates completing the flight review portion of their Level 1 Complex certification pathway. Before attempting the flight review, candidates must have completed 20 hours of a TC Certified Online Level 1 Complex Ground School and passed the Transport Canada Level 1 Complex Online Exam.

This purchase does not include the Level 1 Complex Online Ground School. Candidates who require ground school can purchase the Level 1 Complex Ground School + Flight Review + Prep Course bundle.

• Level 1 Complex candidates: Intended for pilots pursuing certification for advanced operations and lower-risk BVLOS operations over unpopulated areas, small RPAS operations over sparsely populated areas, and operations requiring enhanced planning, crew coordination, and risk mitigation.
• Candidates who have completed the prerequisites: The flight review requires completion of the required Level 1 Complex Ground School and Transport Canada online exam before the assessment.
• Pilots evaluating Advanced Operations instead: Candidates focused on controlled airspace, operations over or near bystanders, EVLOS, and Sheltered Operations, but not BVLOS, may be looking for Advanced Operations certification instead.

No. This purchase includes only the Level 1 Complex Flight Review and Prep Course. The Level 1 Complex Online Ground School is available separately or as part of the Level 1 Complex Ground School + Flight Review + Prep Course bundle.

What must I complete before attempting the flight review?
You must have completed 20 hours of a TC Certified Online Level 1 Complex Ground School and passed your Transport Canada Level 1 Complex Online Exam before attempting the flight review.

Where is the flight review conducted?
All in-person flight reviews are conducted at a Metro Vancouver location.
