▸ Is this the right certification for me?

Level 1 Complex is currently the highest drone certification available in Canada. It covers advanced operations, plus lower-risk BVLOS operations over unpopulated areas, small RPAS over sparsely populated areas, and operations requiring enhanced planning, crew coordination, and risk mitigation. Must be at least 18 years old to certify.

If you're flying in controlled airspace, over or near bystanders, or conducting EVLOS and Sheltered Operations - but not BVLOS - you may be looking for the Advanced Operations certification instead. Must be at least 16 years old to certify.
