GVI LiAcquire / LiGeoreference Software

Raw LiDAR data collected from airborne or mobile systems is georeferenced through the fusion of point cloud data, GNSS trajectory, and IMU attitude information. The quality of that fusion determines the accuracy of every downstream deliverable. GreenValley LiGeoreference is the post-processing software that merges point cloud data from mobile and aerial LiDAR systems with integrated IMU and GNSS sensors, producing accurately georeferenced point clouds in standard output formats ready for classification and analysis in LiDAR360 or third-party processing platforms.

• Fuses point cloud, GNSS, and IMU data into accurate georeferenced output: LiGeoreference combines raw scan data with trajectory and attitude information from integrated GNSS and IMU systems, producing point clouds georeferenced to centimetre-level accuracy in .LAS or .LiData formats with user-specified datum, projection, and coordinate system settings.
• True-colour point clouds through RGB image fusion: RGB imagery captured alongside LiDAR data can be fused with the point cloud within LiGeoreference, producing true-colour 3D models that combine the geometric accuracy of LiDAR with the visual detail of photogrammetric imagery for richer deliverables.
• Compatible with GreenValley and third-party LiDAR technologies: Processes data from GreenValley LiAir airborne systems and supports popular third-party laser scanning technologies including Riegl and Velodyne, enabling use in multi-system workflows.
• Multiple datum and coordinate system outputs: Exports to WGS84 and other standard projections and coordinate systems, enabling direct compatibility with client GIS environments without additional coordinate transformation steps.
