Power 2000 Portable Power Station - 2048Wh Field Power for Professional Operations
The Power 2000 brings 2048Wh of stable, field-ready power and 15 simultaneous output ports to professional operations and remote crews, enabling forestry teams, inspection professionals, filmmakers, and emergency responders to run the equipment that matters for as long as the mission requires.
- 3000W continuous output - enough for 99% of professional and household equipment -- Run power tools, induction cookers, lighting rigs, monitors, and professional appliances simultaneously from a single 22 kg unit that fits within 32.6 litres of cargo space.
- 80% recharged in 55 minutes, full in 90 - Grid recharging pulls up to 3000W AC input, with hybrid recharging combining solar and car power simultaneously for off-grid deployments where mains access is unavailable.
- 15 ports including four AC outlets, four USB-C, four USB-A, and two SDC - The dual full SDC ports support direct drone battery fast charging and expansion battery connection simultaneously, keeping Matrice 4 Series, Mavic 3 Series, Air 3 Series, Matrice 30 Series, and Inspire 3 batteries cycling without a separate charger on site.
- Expandable to 22,528Wh with 10ms UPS switchover - Stack up to ten Power Expansion Battery 2000 units for multi-day off-grid operations or whole-home backup, with a UPS switchover twice as fast as competitors to keep sensitive electronics running uninterrupted during outages.
Overview and Who It's For
The Power 2000 is a 2048Wh portable power station that delivers 3000W of continuous AC output through a pure sine wave inverter - double the capacity of the Power 1000 V2 in a compact 32.6L footprint measuring just 16 inches across. The LFP cell chemistry maintains over 80% capacity after 4,000 charge cycles, providing an approximate 10-year lifespan under daily use.
The front-facing port layout integrates all 15 outputs on a single panel: four AC outlets, four USB-C ports (C1 and C2 at 140W each, C3 and C4 at 65W each), four USB-A ports at up to 24W each, and two full SDC ports. Both SDC ports are fully independent -- one can connect an expansion battery while the other fast-charges drone batteries, with no trade-off between the two functions.
Recharging is flexible across three sources: grid power (up to 3000W AC input, 80% in 55 minutes), solar power via the DJI Power 1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger (up to 75 minutes to full), car power via the same charger or the 1kW Super Fast Car Charger (145 minutes to full), or intelligent hybrid recharging combining solar and car power simultaneously. The DJI Home app connects via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for remote monitoring, output control, and status display without requiring a dongle.
In UPS mode, the Power 2000 defaults to pass-through when plugged into grid power with devices connected, switching to battery in 10ms if grid power fails - fast enough that computers, routers, and sensitive electronics do not detect the interruption.
Best suited for:
- Forestry and Environmental - Remote site power for crew equipment, lighting, communication gear, and drone battery cycling with no grid access
- Energy and Utilities - High-draw field power for inspection teams running tools, monitoring systems, and powered equipment on infrastructure and pipeline sites
- Public Safety - Mobile power for command posts, communications, lighting, and first responder equipment where noise-free, generator-free operation matters
- Film and TV Production - Quiet operation and 15 simultaneous ports make it practical for multi-person location shoots running cameras, monitors, lights, and audio equipment concurrently
- Home Backup - With up to ten expansion batteries, 22,528Wh covers essential home devices for 4-6 days during outages

Training and Certification
No Transport Canada RPAS certification is required to operate the Power 2000 as a standalone power station.
For customers using this unit to support drone operations in the field, Transport Canada RPAS certification requirements apply to the aircraft being flown, not the power station. Candrone Academy offers online ground school and exam prep for pilots looking to get certified or upgrade to Advanced.
For teams deploying this in public safety or professional contexts, Advanced RPAS Certification unlocks operations near people and in controlled airspace commonly required for municipal, SAR, and emergency services use.
FAQs
How does the Power 2000 differ from the Power 1000 V2? The Power 2000 doubles capacity to 2048Wh, increases continuous output from 2600W to 3000W, adds four USB-C ports (versus two), four AC outlets (versus four on the North American V2 model), and two full SDC ports (versus one SDC and one SDC Lite). It also supports expansion to 22,528Wh via ten expansion batteries compared to 11,264Wh via five on the Power 1000 V2. The trade-off is weight -- 22 kg versus 14.2 kg.
Can the Power 2000 fast charge DJI drone batteries? Yes. Both SDC ports support direct fast charging of Matrice 4 Series, Mavic 3 Series, Air 3 Series, Matrice 30 Series, and Inspire 3 intelligent flight batteries using the corresponding fast charge cable -- no separate charger required on site. The fast charge cable is sold separately; confirm availability with our team.
Can I connect solar panels and expand the battery at the same time? Yes. The Power 2000 has two independent SDC ports. One can accept solar or car power input via the appropriate accessory charger while the other connects an expansion battery, enabling simultaneous capacity expansion and renewable recharging in the same deployment.
How does UPS mode work? When the Power 2000 is plugged into grid power with devices connected to its AC output ports, it defaults to UPS mode -- devices run directly off the grid while the battery stays charged. If grid power goes down, the unit switches to battery power within 10ms, fast enough that most computers, routers, and sensitive electronics do not detect the interruption.
How much capacity does it take to run a full film or production set? It depends on the load, but the 2048Wh base and 3000W continuous output support multi-camera, multi-light setups running concurrently across 15 ports. For extended multi-day productions, connecting Power Expansion Battery 2000 units scales capacity to match.
