One of the biggest mistakes I see is treating equipment acquisition as the final step.Â

At the same time, begin understanding your organization's internal acquisition requirements: vendor selection, competitive bids, sole-source justification, purchasing timelines, and approval requirements.Â

Evaluate the drone:Â Demo, leverage rental options, collect small sample data sets, review industry feedback, and have conversations with experienced users.Â
