It delivers ±2 cm accuracy at 40 meters, making it ideal for:

LiAir X4 + Handheld Kit: All-in-One for Air and Ground

Finally, Cody introduced the LiAir X4 with handheld kit, a versatile system designed to serve both aerial and terrestrial scanning needs. Built with a UAV-mounted INS LiDAR sensor, the kit enables users to detach and walk the unit through structures, canopies, or interior environments—perfect for bridging gaps in data between aerial and ground-level scans.

The X4 truly shines in power line inspection. Paired with an M300 or M350, it brings Level 4 autonomy, complete with:

Autonomous power line following
Obstacle-aware flight, capable of flying over or under crossing lines
Upward-facing sensors to monitor full surroundings
Live point cloud streaming, colorized with RGB and FPV camera feeds

With LivePlan software, the system can mark tower locations, identify danger points, and generate KML files for easy integration into GreenValley’s LiPowerline analysis tool.
