D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station
DJI D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station brings centimetre-level positioning to professional survey and mapping operations, enabling field teams to support airborne RTK corrections, communication relay, and ground measurements from a single station.
- Maintain centimetre-level positioning: Six supported satellite systems and 0.8 cm + 1 ppm horizontal static measurement accuracy support repeatable survey and mapping workflows.
- Cover three field workflows: Base station, relay station, and rover station modes allow one unit to support RTK corrections, extended communications, and ground measurements.
- Collect ground points efficiently: Rover mode supports tilt measurements from 0 to 60 degrees, with accuracy less than 2 cm within 30-degree tilt.
- Work across demanding sites: IP67 ingress protection supports field use in rain, dust, and challenging survey environments.
Overview and Who It's For
The DJI D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station is a professional GNSS base station designed for enterprise survey, mapping, and inspection teams operating DJI Matrice and Matrice 4 series aircraft. Its three operating modes support airborne RTK corrections, communication relay, and ground rover measurements from a single field unit.
- Civil and Power: Support photogrammetry and Lidar surveys on infrastructure projects, with relay mode extending communications along inspection corridors.
- Mining and Aggregate: Provide RTK positioning for stockpile volumetric surveys, blast planning support, and site control.
- Forestry and Environmental: Support ground control point collection and large-area aerial Lidar and photogrammetry campaigns.
- Surveying and Mapping: Combine airborne RTK corrections and ground rover measurements using a single station.

Regulatory and Compliance
| Transport Canada RPAS Class | Ground-based GNSS station -- does not change the host aircraft's RPAS class designation |
| Radio frequency (relay mode) | Confirm operating frequency bands with current IC regulations before use in relay mode |
| Geographic availability | Available in Canada |
Relay station mode transmission distances vary by regional regulatory standard (FCC, CE, SRRC). Always confirm current Transport Canada and ISED requirements before relay operations. Operating in relay mode may require coordination with local spectrum management authorities depending on the transmission band and output power in use.
FAQs
What is the difference between base station mode and rover station mode?
In base station mode, the D-RTK 3 is set up at a known or surveyed location and broadcasts RTK corrections to compatible DJI aircraft. In rover station mode, it is used as a handheld ground measurement device for ground control points, topographic survey, or static measurements.
What does relay station mode do?
Relay station mode extends the communication link between the aircraft and remote controller when terrain or structures obstruct the direct link. Maximum aircraft-to-relay range is up to 15 km under FCC standard.
Which DJI aircraft are compatible with the D-RTK 3?
The D-RTK 3 is compatible with DJI Matrice series aircraft including the Matrice 400 and Matrice 350 RTK, as well as DJI Matrice 4 series platforms. Confirm compatibility with your specific aircraft model with Candrone's Solutions team before purchase.
Can the D-RTK 3 be used as a rover with a separate base station?
Yes. In rover station mode, the D-RTK 3 can receive RTK corrections from a network NTRIP service or from a second compatible DJI base station.
Does the D-RTK 3 require a tripod?
A tripod or survey pole is required in base station mode. In rover station mode, it is used on a survey pole. Tripods and poles are not included, so confirm compatible mounting hardware with Candrone's Solutions team.
