The GreenValley LiMonitor G1 combines LiDAR with a visible-light camera into a portable, tripod-mounted safety monitoring device that actively measures distance in real time, triggers graded alarms when configurable clearance thresholds are breached, and processes everything on-device without depending on a cloud connection.

• LiDAR + camera dual-sensor monitoring with centimetre-level accuracy: The G1 fuses LiDAR geometry data with visible-light camera imagery to build a continuous 3D model of the monitored scene. LiDAR actively measures distance to ±10 cm accuracy regardless of ambient light - at night, in rain, or in dusty conditions - while the camera provides the visual context that helps the system distinguish genuine intrusions from background activity and environmental interference.
• Dynamic tracking with 0.5-second alert response: Based on real-time LiDAR measurements, the system highlights moving intrusion targets on the monitoring interface and estimates each target's speed, trajectory, and predicted time to contact with the monitored asset. When a configured clearance threshold is breached, the G1 triggers audible and visual alarms and remote voice warnings within 0.5 seconds - fast enough to provide meaningful warning before contact occurs.
• Real-time edge computing - no cloud dependency for alarms: All measurement, monitoring, detection, and alarm functions execute locally on the device's built-in edge-computing module. Real-time alarms do not require uploading data to a remote server for processing, eliminating the response delay introduced by network transmission. Alert events, video, and point cloud records are archived locally for post-event review and incident reporting.
• IP66 protection and -20 to +65 degrees C operating range: The IP66-rated enclosure withstands dust immersion and direct water jets, enabling reliable operation in rain, dusty construction environments, and cold-weather outdoor sites. The wide operating temperature range covers Canadian winter conditions without performance degradation.
• Flexible power - battery, mains, or solar: One B60 battery provides approximately 4 hours of operation; two batteries cover a standard 8-hour workday. Mains power and solar power options support long-term fixed monitoring installations where site power is available or where a battery swap schedule is impractical.
• Tripod-mounted mobile deployment in 3.16 kg: The complete system deploys on a tripod with a 2D pan-tilt head, allowing horizontal and vertical angle adjustment to point the device accurately at the monitored target. At 3.16 kg, the G1 is portable enough to redeploy across a site as work zones shift during a construction campaign.

The LiMonitor G1 is a portable LiDAR-camera safety monitoring system designed for power utilities, electrical contractors, and civil construction teams who carry out work near energized equipment or in proximity to active power infrastructure. Three primary applications are supported out of the box:

• Civil and Power: Substation maintenance, live-line work, and construction activity near energized electrical equipment where maintaining a configurable safety-distance threshold between personnel or machinery and live assets is a regulatory and site safety requirement.
• Civil and Power - overhead line construction: Conductor stringing and sag monitoring during overhead line construction, providing real-time warnings when sag deviates from the safe operating envelope during stringing operations.
• Construction zone intrusion warning: Electronic perimeter definition around restricted zones, critical equipment, or exclusion areas where personnel or machinery entry without authorisation triggers an immediate alarm.

The LiMonitor G1 is part of GreenValley's safety monitoring product family. It operates on a local-server platform (LiMonitor Server) rather than a cloud platform, keeping monitoring data and alarm events on-site. It integrates with existing site protection and security platforms via RS485, 433 MHz, 4G, and Wi-Fi communications, and supports connection to external audible and visual alarm devices and loudspeakers.
